Did you know?
Moms can still breastfeed while sick. In fact, it's good for your baby. When you get sick, your body starts fighting the illness by making antibodies, which get passed to your baby. Your baby was probably exposed to the virus or bacteria before you felt sick. By continuing to breastfeed, you're not only keeping up your milk supply, but you're also protecting your baby from getting sick by passing along those antibodies.
