Awards to Prevent Opioid Misuse among Women and Girls

In 2017, the Office on Women's Health (OWH) awarded $2 million in grants to 20 public and private nonprofit organizations to address the prevention of opioid misuse by women. The grantees are located across 15 states and will use the funds over a 3-year period to reach girls aged 10-17 years, women of reproductive age, and women aged 50 years and older in underserved populations.
