Shan is a certified sex educator and clinical sexologist, known as the go-to voice for millennials. The award-winning author, TV personality, and YouTuber offers her expertise on sex and love. Shan has successfully addressed difficult sex and relationship topics through print, broadcast, and digital media. She is the author of LAID: Young People’s Experiences with Sex in an Easy-Access Culture; has worked on projects for CBS, BET, MTV, and Showtime; and has been featured in various outlets including the New York Times, Glamour, Huffington Post, Women's Health Magazine, and Forbes. She traveled with BET's Emmy-Award winning HIV-awareness campaign Rap-It-Up and believes that the age of information can put a stop to the spread of HIV and AIDS.
