The BodyWorks program has a proven track record of success for helping parents make healthier food choices and be more physically active. Read more about the evaluation of the BodyWorks program.

BodyWorks is a program designed to help parents and caregivers of teens and preteens improve family eating and activity habits. Available in English and Spanish, the program focuses on parents as role models and provides them with hands-on tools to make small, specific behavior changes to increase healthy eating and physical activity.

Getting Started

Program leaders: Find tips, resources, and toolkit materials to help you prepare for your BodyWorks programs.

Get involved: Learn how you can become a program leader, partner, or collaborator.

BodyWorks is moving into a new phase! The Office on Women's Health will no longer maintain the BodyWorks program after December 2016.

This doesn't mean BodyWorks must end. We encourage you to continue (or begin) leading programs in your communities.

The BodyWorks toolkit materials will remain on womenshealth.gov for you to view and download until Friday, December 30, 2016. If you would like to print them professionally, please email bodyworks@hagersharp.com to request the design files.
