Jeff Ventura is the Director of the Division of Strategic Communications (DSC) where he oversees public health and outreach activities and initiatives and provides communications support for OWH programs. Most recently, Jeff served as the Director of Communications for one of the National Institute of Health’s 27 institutes and centers. Prior to NIH, Jeff held numerous management positions within the FDA’s Commissioner’s Office, where he provided executive-level strategic communications support to three commissioners and served as an on-the-record spokesperson for the agency. He later went on to oversee the entire regulatory communications division of one of FDA’s major centers. Jeff earned an MS in journalism from Columbia University and an MS in communications from Simmons University in Boston.
