Female Genital Cutting (FGC) Community-Centered Health Care and Prevention Project

In July 2016, the Office on Women’s Health awarded 8 grants totaling $6 million over a three year period, to organizations that address the gaps and problems in female genital cutting (FGC)-related health care services for women and girls living in the U.S. The funds will also be used to prevent the practice from occurring.
