Staying Active

The 2008 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans state that an active lifestyle can lower your risk of early death from a variety of causes. However, staying active can be tough for some people. Read the posts from our Woman Community to find out what motivates others in our Woman Activity Tracker. Also, you can try staying motivated by changing up your routine. Now that the weather is getting cooler, go for a bike ride in a hilly location or hike a trail you've never tried. If you make physical activity fun, you will look forward to doing it!

Learn how you can be active for health.

What's New on the Woman Activity Tracker?

We've designed graphs for you to track your progress week by week. Your Daily Activity Totals are shown on one graph and your Weekly Scores are broken down into two graphs, one for your activity and one for the days of muscle-strengthening activities you completed. These tools give you a great visual idea of how you're progressing each week.
