Active At Any Size

Some people find it difficult to be active when they are overweight. You may not be able to bend or move in the same way that other people can. It may be hard to find clothes and equipment for exercising. You may feel self-conscious being active around other people. Facing these challenges is hard, but it can be done! Activities such as swimming or exercising while seated put less stress on your joints because your legs are not supporting the weight of your body. And taking part in a supportive program like the Woman Activity Tracker can also help you get started.

What's New on the Woman Activity Tracker?

When looking at your weekly scores in your "my progress" section, you may notice the yellow line on the graphs. The yellow line on the graph is the score you must reach to receive the "Gold Star" award (100 points). If you earn more than 100 points, you receive the "Above and Beyond" award. The red line on the graph is the score you must reach to receive the Activity Champion award (200 points). If your score is greater than or equal to your goal, you receive the "Met My Goal" award.
