No, our new program asks you to enter your activity in minutes (not steps) and then determine if your activity is moderate or vigorous in intensity. Pedometer measurements have no way to account for the intensity of the activity the user is involved in or if the activity was muscle-strengthening.
To use the Woman Activity Tracker, our recommendation is that you try to keep track of your activities in minutes. Some participants find it helpful to track their activities throughout the day using our
printer-friendly tracking log (PDF, 922 Kb).
