Generalized Anxiety Disorder

All people have reason to worry now and then. But people with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) feel overly worried about issues like money, work, and health all the time — even when there is little or no reason for worry. Sometimes, just the thought of getting through the day causes worry and anxiety. Worrying, and physical symptoms like fatigue, headache, and tension, can keep people with GAD from doing everyday tasks. Treatment can help people with GAD live a more normal life.
