Mission Statement

The National Human Trafficking Resource Center (Resource Center) is a service provided by the Department of Health and Human Services to provide information and resources to victims of human trafficking, accept tips from individuals wishing to provide information about possible victims, and other individuals or organizations seeking information about this phenomenon. When appropriate, the Resource Center makes referrals to local organizations that assist victims with counseling, case management, legal advice, and other appropriate services, as well as makes referrals to law enforcement agencies in order to help trapped victims reach safety.
