Mission Statement
NHTSA is committed to working with diverse national and community-based partners to create, implement, evaluate and market culturally specific programs and materials to raise greater awareness within diverse communities about the importance of traffic safety. Specific attention will be focused on the traffic safety needs of four major ethnic/racial groups - African Americans, Asian/Pacific Islanders, Hispanics and American Indian/Alaska Natives.
