Mission Statement

The National Addiction Technology Transfer Centers Program (ATTC) maintains a national network of centers for the purposeof improving the skill level of addiction treatment practitioners in a variety of disciplines. ATTC's goal is to increase the knowledge and skill base of practitioners in the field and keep them at the leading edge of the field by facilitating access to education and other opportunities for professional growth reflecting current and emerging practice and sound scientific research. Wherever possible the NATTC program will foster local and national linkages between disciplines, professionals and organizations to provide practitioners with access to practices and viewpoints from a number of different arenas, while ensuring that the training is responsive to local needs.
