As a self-help organization involved in development of programs of support, SPOHNC, a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, can be a vital component of the healing process for head and neck cancer patients. As such it can have an enormous positive impact on meeting the psychosocial needs of patients as well as preserving, restoring, and promoting physical and emotional health.
