  • Conference: Meeting the Reentry Needs of Women: Policies, Programs and Practices
    March 15 – 16, 2012

  • The purpose of this conference is to discuss strategies and exchange ideas on how to increase the health, well-being, and safety of individuals, families and communities by improving reentry outcomes. This conference will include discussions on access to health care, employment, education, stable and safe housing, family connectedness and reduced recidivism, through the utilization of gender responsive strategies for women leaving jails and prisons. The conference report will be shared with the National Reentry Council to inform them of the needs of women reentering the community and society.
